Anastasia from Voudou Ropes is an international Shibari artist, with 7 years experience in the field, teaching, making exhibitions, events and performances in several countries. Anastasia attracts people who want to feel the rope as an art form.
Shibari can be so different for everyone. Shibari is an art of wordless communication. Shibari can be a playful date, it can be a serious tool to communicate, a tool of meditation, or a tool to create your own beautiful designs.
Anastasia says “While I tie, I do my best to make my models feel empowered and beautiful. Often colourful ropes help to create the mood! Anastasia lives in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and enjoys watching sunsets on the beach. These colors remind her of those sunsets.

This course is fully self-tying. You don’t need a partner for this course, but you can take the course with a partner!
This 4 pack of ropes also features a beginner Shibari course so you can learn all about the art of Shibari.
These ropes are made of high quality Bamboo Silk, making them soft and pleasant to the body. Each rope is 26 feet long or 8 meters in length.
Caring for Your Bamboo Silk Rope
Bamboo silk has a luxurious feel to it, so let’s try to keep it in shape!! Here are tips for keeping it in prime condition.
Like any cherished possession, your rope will evolve over time, gaining a softer, more supple feel with each use.
While it is totally ok to wash your ropes, excessive washings may diminish the overall strength and change the look a bit.
Hand-Wash with Care: Gently cleanse your rope in cold water using a small amount of delicate/lingerie wash to preserve its exquisite texture.
Air-Dry in Style: After washing, hang the rope in loose coils to air-dry. For optimal maintenance, consider gently stretching the rope during the drying period to retain its proper lay.
No Treatment Required: bamboo silk ropes require no additional treatment, such as oiling or waxing.

Returns Not Permitted*
Ropes touch your body when you tie, so you can’t return them! Unless there is serious damage to the rope (noticed right after opening the pack).
*In circumstances where you consider that a rope is seriously defective or damaged upon first examining it, you should promptly contact us at hello@squirtopia.com with your order number, details of the rope, a picture, and the defect.
All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive a notification when your order has shipped. It is possible that there could be delays in shipping due to a high volume of orders or due to circumstances outside of our control. If there are any delays or issues with the shipment of your item(s) we will contact you.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@squirtopia.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis, but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
If you notice that your shipping address is incorrect after checking out, please promptly contact us at hello@squirtopia.com with your correct shipping address. We are not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses. Once an order ships with an incorrect shipping address, it will be non-deliverable and will be returned to us. We will either refund you for your order minus the cost of shipping or ask that you pay to re-ship your order.
